After a brief respite in Prescott, I travel south into the depths of Kofa National Wildlife Refuge near Quartzsite, Arizona. Defunct roads alter my planned route, and give way to aimless wandering across a lovely and unspoiled desert landscape. The week wraps up in Yuma, where I finally escape the cold weather!
