Helen Traubel Sings "When I Grow Too Old To Dream"
The great Wagnerian soprano, who could raise the rafters of the largest opera house with her mighty voice, could also sing the most gentle song imaginable. This exemplary bit of singing is one of the loveliest things ever recorded. My admiration for Traubel is simple boundless.
