O verdadeiro peso de liderar | O Monge e o Executivo (James C. Hunter)

Most people confuse authority with power, and that's exactly why so many teams fail. In this video, I reflect on the book I consider the pinnacle of leadership: "The Monk and the Executive" by James C. Hunter. I often joke that I didn't just read this book, I studied it. It's excellent for anyone in a management position because it forces us to question daily whether we are leading people the way we would like to be led. We demystify the role of the "boss" and show that leading requires enduring the pressure from above while you serve as a foundation for your team to grow. If you are already a leader, this book is essential reading to align your management. If you don't lead a team, remember: your first and most important management is of yourself. And if you are led by someone, send this video to your leader. After all, if your leader evolves, it's inevitable that you will evolve along with them.
