Tomonori Asakura: "My main reason for becoming a police officer was that I wanted a job that protects people, and I thought being a police officer was cool. I became a police officer partly because I admired the profession." His daily duties mainly consist of patrolling. He patrols the city on his motorcycle, stands in front of the police box, and watches over the safety of the community. He's so muscular, it's reassuring." He has muscles that look like they'd protect you. After finishing his day's work, of course... Tomonori Asakura: I go as soon as I finish. It's my stress reliever. Heads straight to the gym! With the competition just three days away, he's training with two fitness buddies he met at the gym. Q. How often do you train per week? Tomonori Asakura: Since I work 24-hour shifts, maybe four or five times a week. Although Asakura is very disciplined, the hardest part of building his physique is... Tomonori Asakura: I lost 12 kilograms this year. In about four months. It's weight loss. Tomonori Asakura: If I try to do it alone, I end up stress eating, so it's better to make friends at the gym and do it together.
