KTM 390 Adventure ECU Failed At 150 Kmph: It Made My Bike Better!

While riding at about 150 kmph on an expressway yesterday (May 28, 2020), my KTM 390 Adventure suddenly started flashing two red signals on the screen - ECU Failure and MTC Failure. For a moment, I was taken aback, hoping the bike doesn't stall at that speed - which needless to say, could have been catastrophic. But, thankfully, nothing happened. The bike kept running smoothly, and all I did see fail in that moment were the rev counter (got stuck at 8,000 rpm) and the gear position indicator (got stuck in 6th). Everything else kept working smoothly. Now, this might sound alarmist, especially with the title of this video, but it probably is not the case. For all you know, it might just be a loose cable somewhere. The bike turns on, rides fine - it's just that the gear indicator and the rev counter don't work. I did try to call my KTM service centre, but they did not answer. When I visited them, it was shut due to the nationwide lockdown to help contain the spread of coronavirus. The security guard there said it would open probably on June 1. And so, I'm putting out this video without the solution. Do you have any idea what could it be? Has any other KTM owner faced this so far? Please let me know in the comments if you have any idea.
