➡️ Theme: The Church's Journey Through the Desert of Life: From Mara (bitter waters) to Elim (oasis of rest), towards the heavenly Canaan. ➡️ Biblical Text: Exodus 15:22-27 ➡️ Pastor Wallace Rozetti ------------------------------------------- Just as the people of Israel left Egypt towards the promised land, the Faithful Church is also on a journey—a walk through the desert of life, with a clear destination: the heavenly Canaan. In this message based on Exodus 15:22-27, we are led to reflect on the three stages of this journey: 🌵 THE DESERT — The reality of the world in which we live, unforgiving, with struggles, conflicts, and afflictions typical of the present time. 💧 MARA — The bitter waters that represent the condition of man without Christ. But there is a piece of wood — Jesus — that, cast into the waters of our lives, transforms bitterness into sweetness. 🌴 ELIM — The oasis of 12 springs and 70 palm trees, a figure of the Faithful Church: a place of communion, rest, the shadow of the Almighty, and living water that quenches the soul. ✨ CELESTIAL CANAAN — The final destination of our journey, where there will be no more crying, pain, or sadness, but eternal joy and peace in the presence of the Lord. "Blessed is the man whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion." (Psalm 84:5) May this word strengthen your heart on the journey.
