This is the very first MIDI controller I ever built for my YouTube channel — and it turned into a fully functional music-making powerhouse. It acts as a MIDI keyboard, an effects controller, and a mixer, designed for solo artists and home-studio producers. With sliders, knobs, a joystick, buttons, and two octaves of mechanical keys, this DIY controller gives you hands-on control over your instruments, plugins, and DAW — without spending hundreds on commercial gear. Originally wired entirely by hand (no custom PCB!), this project pushed the Arduino Pro Micro to its absolute limits.
