I’m getting chased by rain again!

The cabin project keeps moving forward! In this episode, it was time to tackle the first dormer. With another round of rain in the forecast, I had a small window of opportunity to get it framed and dried in before the weather turned. One of the goals for this entire cabin build is to avoid using OSB wherever possible. Instead, I’m using lumber harvested right here from my own property. It takes more work, but there’s something incredibly satisfying about building an off-grid cabin with materials that came directly from the land. The dormer was a big step forward because it adds valuable space and headroom to the sleeping loft. Not only is it practical, but it also gives the cabin a great look and adds character to the build. Every piece completed brings this dream cabin one step closer to reality. 🔥 Check out my apparel and support the channel: www.montanawolftrapper.com Thank you all for following along on this off-grid cabin journey.
