Hello everyone. Today we're going to change the butane hose; it's about to expire. There are several ways, one of which is to heat the hose with water. This isn't dangerous. First, we must take precautions, knowing that we're doing a job that must be done properly, since it's installing gas from a gas cylinder to a water heater (in my case). We disconnect the shower head. Using a utility knife, we cut the hose from the inlet that goes to the heater, and we do the same with the one that goes to the shower head. We loosen the clamps with a screwdriver. We cut off the excess on each side, clean the inlets. We check the length, and we'll cut the new hose to the same length. Pour a little water into a cup. We put it in the microwave for a minute. We put one end of the hose in the water. Once hot, we connect it to the shower head. We insert the two clamps into the hose. We tighten one of them onto the shower head inlet. We go to the cylinder location and do the same with the hose, put it in the water (reheat if it has cooled), and once it's hot, insert the hose into the water heater connection. We tighten the clamp. We place the shower head on the cylinder and test the heater. With a little soapy water, we pour water into both connections. If there are no bubbles, the watertightness is correct. Tools. Cutter.
