Air Ambulance makes Emergency Landing In Sutton Coldfield

The West Midlands Air Ambulance made an emergency landing on the green of Dugdale Crescent, Sutton Coldfield which is surrounded by BISF Houses. The surprise landing attracted a small crowd of onlookers whilst the emergency services conveyed a patient with a head injury to hospital. The patient, believed to be a woman, injured her head after a fall inside St James Church on Mere Green Road. A number of ambulances and paramedics attended the scene, followed by the Police, in case some onlookers came too close to the aircraft.
