City Drive #032 - Bogalusa, Louisiana Over the last few years, we've had multiple requests for a drive around Bogalusa, and since we were in the area on Saturday, June 15, 2024, we decided to make a video. Note that Bogalusa is quite a large town, and we only covered a small part of it, but it was what we had time for while we were there. Next time we're up that way, we may try for a different part of town. Bogalusa lies at a junction of LA-10 and LA-21. Several other numbered State Highways run through the city limits including LA-60, LA-3124, LA-439, and LA-1075. The Mississippi state line is just outside of the eastern city limits. The Bogue Lusa Creek runs through town, bogue lusa being Choctaw for "dark water. An English phonetic spelling of Bogue Lusa is where the town gets its name. We are jasonh300 and sippigrrrl!
