Ahead of the release of the latest Star Wars film, an event was held in Umeda, Osaka, bringing together fans. The venue featured cosplay, an exhibition of Ukiyo-e prints showcasing the influence of Japanese culture, and, as a special commemorative piece, a Bunraku puppet of "Grogoo." Created using traditional techniques from head carving to costume at the National Bunraku Theatre's workshop, the puppet was brought to life using 300-year-old techniques, including the use of crystal eyes.
