The Wonderful World of Jetix

Welcome to the (retrospective) world of JETIX! When I was a kid, I often watched Jetix, which for me, was an action block on Toon Disney. However, when I revisited the brand more than ten years after it vanished, I discovered that it was much more than I once thought. Jetix was a powerhouse that provided action-oriented shows to kids across the globe. While it was home to the popular Power Rangers, it was also a hub for licensed shows and original programming, like PUCCA, Get Ed, and Yin Yang Yo. It was a basic block that co-existed with Toon Disney and ABC Family in the US (and some other countries), but in parts of Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Latin America, it was an entire channel! Around the world, Jetix was a phenomenon with magazines, games, awards shows, and more. It replaced the Fox Kids brand in foreign markets. Ultimately, Jetix completely vanished after it was replaced by Disney XD.
