JR東日本Ｇと伊藤忠Ｇの不動産事業分野の統合契約締結

On April 15, 2026, our company and Itochu Corporation signed a merger agreement involving four companies, including our respective subsidiaries, JR East Real Estate Co., Ltd. (JERE) and Itochu Urban Development Co., Ltd. (IPD). We will be streaming the joint press conference held by both companies on the same day for six months; please feel free to watch if you are interested. Based on this agreement, both companies have agreed to merge JERE and IPD to form "JR East Itochu Real Estate Development Co., Ltd.," a consolidated subsidiary of JR East, in which JR East holds a 60% stake and Itochu Corporation holds a 40% stake. Furthermore, we will also proceed with discussions toward building partnerships in fields other than real estate.
