2020 Ford Escape Hybrid - SE SPORT All Wheel Drive!

2020 Ford Escape Hybrid - https://www.lascoford.com With a sporty, modern design, the all-new 2020 Ford Escape rides boldly into a new decade with great expectations. And this small SUV, now Ford’s second-best-selling vehicle behind only the F‑150, is designed to exceed those expectations. Because underneath the athletic appearance, there are two updated engines, a hybrid powertrain, a plug-in hybrid model (coming Spring 2020) and all-wheel drive. The inside offers more interior room, flexible cargo space and a multitude of technologies to help keep drivers alert and connected while they’re enjoying the ride. Escape has gotten its first major redesign since 2013 and it’s a head-turner. The slightly wider stance and longer body, combined with a lower roofline emphasize its athletic, flowing shape. From the front, the design takes inspiration from Ford performance cars — the shield-shaped trapezoidal grille reflects the sixth-generation Mustang styling, for example. All topped off with an all-new lineup of wheels. The heart of the hybrid powertrain is all-new 2.5L Atkinson-cycle I‑4 hybrid engine. The gasoline engine includes an unconventional "5‑stroke" cycle designed specifically to operate at peak efficiency at all times. However, the gasoline engine is only part of the hybrid powertrain that includes an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable PowerSplit Transmission (eCVT), electric traction motor, lithium-ion battery and Regenerative Braking System. An all-new interior takes comfort and flexibility to new heights. An available 12.3" digital instrument cluster keeps the driver informed while the available B&O Sound System from Bang & Olufsen delivers optimum audio. The new sliding second-row seats allow owners to optimize their interior space. With the seats forward, the rear cargo area sprawls open to 37.5 cubic feet, which allows customers to bring along their favorite pooch in a full-size cage. The human passengers’ experience will improve too with new seat designs and seating materials as well as improved entry and exit. Escape SE Sport is all-new for 2020, featuring the fourth-generation hybrid powertrain developed by Ford. This hybrid powertrain starts with a new 2.5L Atkinson-cycle engine combined with an electric motor and new electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT). Black-accented trim and Ebony Black-painted wheels set the tone on the outside while the 12.3" digital instrument cluster and leather-wrapped steering wheel add to the driving experience on the inside.
