How to Scan a Case with 3Shape Dental System

The ScanItRestoration module is designed to scan various restorations while saving them in files at the predefined location setup in Dental System Control Panel. The scanning procedure is very intuitive although some technical knowledge is required to get optimal results from ScanItRestoration. How to Scan a Model with 3Shape Dental System Most scanned objects are fixed on a simple interface plate (see chapter Unpacking and Installation) before being inserted into the scanner. The interface plate facilitates connection between the scanned object and the scanner. The scanned object is fixed at the top of the interface plate using clay. Once the object is fastened in place it can be inserted into the scanner.
