The Teacher’s Secret (Why This Matters): As a trained Early Years teacher, I love this rhyme because it exercises two important skills at the same time: 1️⃣ Space & Balance: Moving our bodies up high, down low, and stepping side-to-side helps children understand positional language. Finishing with a frozen tree pose is brilliant for building core strength and balance! 2️⃣ Phase 1 Phonics (Rhyme): By highlighting words that sound the same at the end (like sky/bye), we are training your child's brain to spot matching sound patterns.
