The atmosphere of making merit by offering lunch and monastic necessities on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Wat Sangwech Wisayaram. Wat Sangwech was originally called Wat Sam Chin because three Chinese people built the temple. Later, during the reign of King Rama I, Prince Maha Surasinghanat ordered the temple to be renovated and renamed it "Wat Bang Lamphu" after the Bang Lamphu canal. During the reign of King Rama IV, he ordered the main Buddha image in the ordination hall to be repaired to enhance its beauty and bestowed the name "Wat Sangwech Wisayaram." The reason for this name is that it is auspicious in Buddhism, corresponding to the words "Sangwechaneya Sthana 4 Tamnam," which are the places of the Buddha's birth, enlightenment, first sermon, and death.
