Geordie Greep - Live in Chicago [3/28/2026]

I feel like I say this every time, but Greep's show at the Metro in Chicago may have been the best I've seen from him and the band. The jams were creative and dynamic, and it was exciting to hear another one of his unreleased songs, Snow Shoes. You could tell he was having a great time on stage, and had fun jamming out to his new favorite phrase "let's get lit" Setlist: 0:00 - Terra [cut] 4:53 - Through a War Intro 6:23 - Through a War [cut] 9:34 - Oh Qué Será? As per usual I was recording with the Sony PCM A10 internal mics, and I think the recording turned out pretty well overall. I started in XY but adjusted the mics to AB during Terra as I was setting up. Unfortunately, I got there a few minutes late and walked in during the middle of Walk Up, so the recording doesn't start until Terra. There were moments where the keyboard's low end got really loud, and I did what I could to compress it down to get a few dB back, but to keep the audio authentic to the show most of the dynamics were preserved outside the loudest peaks. As per usual, if you'd like, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to share a lossless copy of the show, raw or remastered as shown in the video. I hope you enjoy!
