Krishnapriya Neumann is a spiritual teacher and intuitive whose life has been shaped by creativity, devotion, and service across the United States, Europe, and India. Raised in the United States and having spent more than two decades in Europe, she now lives at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, India, where she has dedicated her life to spiritual practice and service. Following a career as a jazz and blues singer, her desire to serve the wider music community led her to found the Dutch Blues Foundation, supporting musicians and strengthening the blues in the Netherlands. Today, music remains part of her spiritual service through her work curating the Sacred Sound Experience at Parmarth Niketan’s International Yoga Festival, which brings together mantra musicians, kirtan artists, and sacred sound practitioners from around the world. She teaches meditation, mantra, and Nada Yoga, drawing upon the understanding of our inherent Oneness. Having taken diksha—a vow dedicating her life to service—she expresses that commitment through her teaching, her work at Parmarth Niketan, and her daily care of Rishikesh’s street dogs. For Krishnapriya, spirituality is something we embody: devotion made visible through how we live and serve.
