Like Ash’s Ivor Novello award-winning single ‘Shining Light’, from on the band’s number 1 album ‘Free All Angels’, ‘Wildsurf’ was inspired by Jack Kerouac’s On The Road. The ‘Wildsurf’ video was second directed by Howard Greenhalgh, after ‘Jesus Says’, and was filmed at the Natural History Museum in London. Also like ‘Jesus Says’, the track was remixed by Butch Vig (Garage, Nirvana - Nevermind) for the US release of ‘Nu-clear Sounds’. #ash #teenagewildlife #wildsurf
