Munich Vlog Part 3 The church bells never stop ringing in Munich's Old Town, Marienplatz. Cheers with a sweet Weiss beer at Augustiner, across from the Hofbräuhaus [2025 Europe Travel Diary 25] May 1, 2025 From Munich Central Station, take the tram to Marienplatz. When you arrive, bells are ringing from somewhere. The bells are a signal for mass at the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). When I look up, I see someone at the top of St. Peter's Church. The observation deck is on the 13th floor, but you have to walk up a narrow wooden staircase. I was out of breath, but the view from above made my fatigue disappear. When I'm tired, I go to the Hofbräuhaus for a beer. But there were too many people. It was too hot. There were no seats available in the main area or on the terrace. I found a seat near the exit, but I couldn't feel the atmosphere there, so I just looked at the Hofbräuhaus. When I went outside, I found a nice beer hall. I went in without knowing anything about it, but it's a beer hall run by Augustiner, who helped me out at the beer venue in the afternoon. "Augustiner Amplatzl" Pilsner, Weiss, and sausages. If you're looking for a typical tourist spot, Hofbräuhaus is the place to go, but if you want to enjoy a meal, Augustiner is definitely better. Marienplatz at night has a slightly suspicious atmosphere, unlike when it's bright. I saw some beggars, but they weren't as persistent as in Southeast Asia, and there were a lot of tourists, so I didn't feel unsafe. I took the S-Bahn from New Town Hall to go back to the hotel, but... Huh? Why is there a tram at the end of the video? ??? Should I talk about it next time? Should I just give up? If I had been unlucky, I wouldn't have been able to return home.
