The Glaid Stone & the Inner Circle Loop, Millport, Scotland, Magic wee Hike

6th February 2023 Another wee trip on the buspassexpress..Doon the water from Greenock to largs then the ferry ( £.3.20 return ) over to Millport & then a cracking hike up to the Glaid Stone and then the Inner Circle Loop. Stunning views from the summit, the highest point on Millport, up & down the Majestic River Clyde, and despite the cloud being quite low, Arran, Wee Cumbrae and even Ailsa Craig were still visible. Lovely walk that comes down past the Beautiful tree lined Cathedral of the Isles to the main road in Millport and the waves were crashing wonderfully onto the beach. I passed Crocodile Rock and grabbed a few photos and then it was back up the road and back to the ferry terminal. On the Road the entire walk, do the feet were a bit aching on quite a cold but magic day & hike, awesome views and great to visit Millport again ..lovely wee place. CARPE DIEM
