Lung assessment for nursing students and nurses of the anterior and posterior lungs. This video demonstrates how to listen to the lungs with a stethoscope on a patient. It also discusses the lung auscultation landmarks and stethoscope placement/points. The nursing assessment skill of assessing lungs sounds is an important part of the nursing head-to-toe assessment. The nurses is assessing for normal breath sounds vs abnormal breath sounds (which includes crackles, wheezes, pleural friction rub, stridor etc).
