Imberbus Ghost Village Bus Service
We took a train to Wiltshire ... to ride on buses! Welcome to the wartime abandoned village of Imber where once a year in the summer Sir Peter Hendy and friends all gather together to provide a one-day-only bus service (No. 23A) across the Salisbury Plains, for a brilliant day out. Imberbus happens once a year (in late August), anyone can go along - just turn up and buy a ticket on the day, whilst on board any bus! All the details are on their website: https://imberbus.wordpress.com/ Thanks to Peter Hendy, Michael Meilton, Martin Curtis and Simon Hall for creating, setting up, and organising Imberbus every year - and to all the people who give up their free time, with money from the ticket sales being donated to charity too. Also, watch Tom Scott's video in Imber for more information on how the village became abandoned: • The Abandoned Village of Imber: How Far Ca... Additonal camera holding: Tom Kell (map holding too!)
