Dentro il nuovo reparto inalatorio di RiminiTerme: innovazione e prevenzione

The official presentation of the new inhalation department took place today, Tuesday, April 28, at RiminiTerme: a strategic project that marks a key milestone in the facility's renovation and significantly strengthens the healthcare offerings for respiratory conditions. The inauguration is part of the celebrations for RiminiTerme's 50th anniversary. The press conference was attended by Rimini Mayor Jamil Sadegholvaad, Councilor Francesco Bragagni, RiminiTerme President Ivan Gambaccini, and Federterme President Renzo Iorio. The heart of the project is the new inhalation department, completely redesigned from both a structural and technological perspective. This space was designed to ensure greater efficiency, comfort, and therapeutic quality, capable of meeting growing demand and expanding treatment and prevention options. Thermal inhalation treatments are one of the cornerstones of thermal medicine. Thanks to the combined use of seawater and thermal water, it is possible to specifically treat numerous respiratory and ear conditions, including rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, otitis, and bronchitis. These treatments help reduce inflammation of the mucous membranes, improve breathing, and limit recurrences, with an increasingly important role in prevention as well. The new department offers a wide range of services, including nasal irrigation, micronized nasal douches, inhalations, aerosols, humage, nebulizations, endotympanic insufflations, and Politzer injections, allowing for personalized treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs. Special attention has been paid to the organization of space and flow: the facility can accommodate up to 80 patients simultaneously, ensuring faster access and more efficient session management. A dedicated pediatric sector has also been created, designed to offer a welcoming and functional environment for children, who represent a significant portion of the patient base. Therapeutic protocols generally involve structured cycles of two to four daily sessions for approximately twelve days, a formula that maximizes the benefits of the treatments. "RiminiTerme is an integral part of our city's history and identity," said Mayor Sadegholvaad, "and celebrating its fiftieth anniversary with this new facility means taking a further step forward in treatment and prevention, offering the community a modern and qualified service." Federterme President Iorio echoed this sentiment: "The 50-year milestone demonstrates not only a corporate success, but also the ability of the Rimini area to evolve and innovate its offerings. The opening of the new facility confirms a clear commitment to investing in thermal medicine, combining therapeutic efficacy, prevention, and quality of life." "This new facility represents a key step in our growth journey," Gambaccini concluded, "because it combines experience, quality care, and technological innovation in a space entirely designed for the patient. After fifty years, we continue to renew our model, looking to the future."
