QUEM SÃO OS PROFISSIONAIS DA EDUCAÇÃO - LDB Art. 61 [ATUALIZADO]

Learn about Article 61 of the LDB (Brazilian Law of Education) and understand who the education professionals are. The following are considered professionals in basic school education: those who are effectively working in it and have been trained in recognized courses, are: 00:58 I – teachers qualified at the secondary or higher level for teaching in early childhood education and in elementary and secondary education; 01:20 II – education workers holding a degree in pedagogy, with qualifications in administration, planning, supervision, inspection and educational guidance, as well as with master's or doctoral degrees in the same areas; 02:00 III – Education workers holding a technical or higher education diploma in a pedagogical or related field. 02:27 IV - Professionals with recognized expertise by their respective education systems, to teach content in areas related to their training or professional experience, attested by specific qualifications or teaching practice in educational units of the public or private network or private corporations in which they have worked, exclusively to meet item V of article 36; 03:37 V - Graduate professionals who have completed pedagogical training, as provided for by the National Education Council. 04:03 Sole paragraph. The training of education professionals, in order to meet the specificities of the exercise of their activities, as well as the objectives of the different stages and modalities of basic education, will be based on: 04:21 I – the presence of a solid basic education, which provides knowledge of the scientific and social foundations of their work skills; 04:31 II – the association between theory and practice, through supervised internships and on-the-job training; 04:43 III – the use of prior training and experience in educational institutions and other activities.
