Júnior Siqueira revela os bastidores da gestão pública em Rondônia | Amazônia, Gente e Justiça
The Amazonia, People and Justice program this Friday (10), at 6 pm, welcomes Júnior Siqueira, accountant, master's student in Administration and professional with extensive experience in public management in Rondônia. Originally from Porto Velho (RO), Júnior Siqueira has built a career marked by his work in the administrative, accounting, financial and institutional areas. Over more than 40 years of public service, he has accumulated experience focused on strengthening public administration and the development of Rondônia. His career began in the former Federal Territory of Rondônia, where he worked between 1980 and 1985. He then joined the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR), an institution where he remained from 1985 to 2025, holding various strategic positions. During this period, he held positions such as Accounting Coordinator, Purchasing Coordinator, Accounting Director, Bidding Director, Planning Director, Campus Prefect, Financial Director of a Support Foundation, Rector's Office Advisor, and participation in the Ombudsman's Committee. The experience gained in these roles provided in-depth knowledge in accounting management, institutional planning, public finance, bidding processes, government procurement, asset management, administrative advising, and internal control mechanisms. In addition to his technical career, he also served as a city councilor in Porto Velho between 2015 and 2016. During his parliamentary work, he presented proposals related to municipal social security, Green IPTU (property tax), the creation of sub-prefectures, maternal and child protection, policies aimed at pregnant women in vulnerable situations, incentives for solar energy, and initiatives to improve municipal administrative management. Júnior Siqueira also participated in social and community activities, contributing to actions aimed at strengthening citizenship, culture, and public participation in Rondônia. In the program, the interviewee will share their experience in public administration, the challenges of efficiently managing public resources, the importance of planning and transparency in management, and reflect on regional development and the future of public administration.
