It's an extremely popular song that has been covered numerous times by artists from different genres and regions of the world, some of which have been major commercial successes. Song: "La vie en rose" ("Life in Pink"), a 1946 song written by Piaf with the melody by Louiguy (Louis Gugliemi). Initially, Piaf's colleagues and her team of songwriters didn't think the song would be a hit, but it became a public favorite.
