San Valentino in Abruzzo, Italy

Nice view of the valley and mountains from Via Valle. This village is where my father came from and has to be one of the most exquisite places on earth. For all you travellers who wish to see an example of true, unspoilt Italy, this is a must see place. There is a hotel just outside the village on the Via Trieste called the Hotel Panorama, where you will find lovely staff, rooms and service. We think that it is a family-run place. In particular, the chef, Maria, makes all homemade pasta, etc. You can't get more authentic than this. Highly recommended
