Prayer Remain Committed to God!

Scripture: John 14:15 (NLT) – “If you love me, obey my commandments.” In a time when corruption, fear, and lawlessness seem to rule the land, it can be tempting to compromise our faith, close our hearts, and look out only for ourselves. Yet Jesus’ words are clear: our love for Him is proven not by what we say, but by how we live. Obedience to Christ does not change with the headlines, the leaders in office, or the darkness around us. When others lie, we tell the truth. When greed increases, we choose to give. When love grows cold, we keep loving. When fear rises, we let God’s peace rule in our hearts. We still offer a drink, a kind word, a listening ear, even when we feel empty ourselves, trusting God to supply what we lack. Now is the time for the people of God to let His light shine beyond the safety of our homes and church walls—into workplaces, marketplaces, and streets. Our consistent obedience in hard times declares that God is alive, still saving, still providing, and still faithful to those who trust Him. If we truly love Him, we will remain committed to His ways—loving in spirit and in truth, no matter how dark the days may seem.
