Gunung Datuk (885m) | One of the best mountains for experienced beginners!

Gunung Datuk (885m) is the highest mountain located in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is within Gunung Datuk Recreational Forest, near Rembau town. If you're ascending in the dark for sunrise, you probably would not be able to see the steep terrain as well and would probably just focus on the one step right in front of you (which is a good thing!) However, it can be a strenuous hike, so do take breaks when required! The summit is made of HUGE boulders, so it makes for a wonderful photo spot, especially for those who fly drones! There are metal stairs at the bottom of the boulders for you to get all the way to the very top. This trip was taken with Adventures Unlimited in October'24.
