Assumpta Serna en ‘Las locas del obelisco’

In ‘Crossing Borders,’ we interviewed Assumpta Serna, one of Spain’s most internationally acclaimed actresses, with a career spanning film, television, and theater in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. We talked with her about this extraordinary journey: from her beginnings in Spanish cinema to her participation in international productions, including her recent work in the play ‘Las locas del obelisco’ (The Madwomen of the Obelisk). We also discussed a very special project: ‘Segunda Vida’ (Second Life), an initiative that seeks to recover and restore part of the cinematic heritage of the 80s and 90s, starting with many of its films, so that new generations can discover and enjoy them again. Contributors to this program include film director Pablo Moreno, theologian Cristina Inogés Sanz, and Jesuit nun María Luisa Berzosa.
