2017 Honda Africa Twin DCT Oil Change - So Easy Your Pharmacist Can Do It!

Come along as I show you how to change the oil on my 2017 Honda Africa Twin CRF1000L with the DCT automatic transmission. Spoiler alert: these same steps work for the manual version too — minus the transmission/clutch filter change. (Manual folks, count your blessings and skip a few steps.) I made this video with the DIY crowd in mind — whether you’re a seasoned garage gremlin or just learning which end of the wrench to hold, we’ll get through this oil change together. No dealership invoices. No guesswork. Just wrench-turning goodness. 🧰 Tools you’ll need: • 5mm Allen wrench or Allen socket (for skid plate & DCT filter housing) • 12mm end wrench or socket & ratchet (for drain plugs) • Channel lock pliers (for oil filter) • Funnel & drain pan (because… obviously) I’ll walk you through it all — step by step, nut by nut, drip by drip. 🛢️ Products featured in this video: These are the AMSOIL products I personally use and trust.
