Want to recover from a serious accident? Here's what I did (part 3)
After surgery for my broken leg, reality finally started to set in. In Part 3 of my recovery journey, I return to OrthoIndy for follow-up visits with my orthopedic surgeon to learn exactly how severe the injury was and what recovery will really look like. We go over the damage, the surgery , and the road ahead. I also begin my rehab journey by getting back into the gym and doing everything I can do to regain strength, balance, and mobility. This part of the journey was physical, mental, and emotional-- but I was determined to keep moving forward. This series documents my real-life recovery after a bike accident that eventually uncovered even bigger health challenges. • Get Out Get Going
