The Kamogawa River in Kyoto, the capital city of Kyoto Prefecture. The beautiful view looking toward mountains of Kitayama and Higashiyama and the clean, clear waters of the river are beloved by many as symbols of Kyoto, known for its outstanding natural scenery. Local residents conduct regularly-scheduled cleanups and water quality surveys, and also give lectures on the river environment to elementary and junior high school students, in order to keep the Kamogawa River beautiful. Influenced by the Beatles as a child, he was the vocalist for a rock band while in college, and in 2020 he taught himself to compose music. Born 1989, originally from Saitama Prefecture. In 2008, he worked on Studio Ghibli films such as Arrietty and The Wind Rises as an animator.
