Rattlesnake Alley Drive Through - Kansas Rocks Recreation Park

This trail was like driving through a rainforest! Rattlesnake Alley, Trail #149, is new to the Jeep Badge of Honor list along with C-2, Trail #141, at Kansas Rocks Recreation Park. KRRP is an off-road adventure park with camping facilities and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. Staff told me it was a two year process to have their trails included in the Badge of Honor program. I visited in August after rainy weather, and the mud and rocks were slick! None of the puddles or low spots on the badge trails were too deep and I didn't get stuck, but I did have to get out the winch on a short hill that had no traction. Trees were tighter than many of the parks I've been to, but if you like driving through a lush forest then this is the place for you.
