Everesting Coll de Sa Batalla: My Final Ride in Mallorca

One climb. 8,848 metres. 20 hours. Before leaving Mallorca, I decided to Everest Coll de Sa Batalla and raise money for Doctors Without Borders. That means riding the same climb over and over until I’ve climbed 8,848 metres — the height of Mount Everest — in a single ride. Roughly 18–20 hours, 300+ kilometres, and a serious dose of suffering. But this one’s about more than just sore legs. Why I’m Doing This Like many of us, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world lately. From Gaza to Sudan to Yemen, humanitarian crises continue to unfold, and it’s easy to feel helpless. So I’m using this challenge to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) — an organisation that provides emergency medical care to people caught in conflict, displacement, famine, and disaster. They work in some of the most dangerous and under-resourced places on earth, guided by independence, neutrality, and humanity. 👉 Donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/samki...
