I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow Soggy Bottom Boys | Guitar Play Through and Intro Lesson
👇Learn how to play The Soggy Bottom Boys - I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow note-for-note on guitar with our The Soggy Bottom Boys - I Am A Man Of Constant SorrowGuitar Lesson. This lesson teaches the acoustic guitar part from the original studio version (radio edit) A Note About the Tuning and Capo Position This lesson is taught in Double Drop D tuning with the capo on the 4th fret. That’s because my guitar was tuned a half step low (and yes—I should have re-tuned it before making the lesson, but didn’t). The original version is in double drop D tuning with the capo on the 3rd fret. So, to match the key of the original recording while tuned down a half step, I placed the capo on the 4th fret. What Does That Mean for You? It won’t affect the lesson at all. But if you want to play in the exact pitch of the original, you have two options: • Option 1: Retune your guitar down a half step, but in double drop D tuning (Db Ab Db Gb Bb Db) and place the capo on the 4th fret (as I did). • Option 2: Leave your guitar in normal double drop D tuning (D A D G B D) and place the capo on the 3rd fret. I strongly recommend Option 2, but either way, everything in the lesson will work exactly the same.
