Manure Pit Progress, Rainy Day Hay & Do Cows Like Dots?

This week we get dirty inside the barn and out in the field. We're making headway with the manure pit, and anybody who likes to see big machinery is going to love this, because it is a huge project with a lot of people, a lot of big machines, and it's a very big pit! If you've never seen 100 tons of gravel poured through a giant straw, today's your day. The family worked together to do a complete clean of the barn for our older calves. This isn't just a fresh hay day, it's a complete scrape-to-the-concrete clean out, and we chose a rainy day to give the calves fresh hay. Plus - Teeg tried something new.
