KOTABUMI (February 24, 2025) – The Head of the North Lampung District Attorney's Office announced that suspects in the alleged corruption project for the renovation of the Ryacudu Regional General Hospital in Kotabumi will soon be named. The renovation project for the Ryacudu Regional General Hospital in Kotabumi cost Rp2.3 billion using the 2022 Revised Regional Budget. The handling of the project, which includes three projects, is awaiting the results of the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office auditor's calculations. North Lampung District Attorney Hendra Syarbaini stated that the Attorney General's Office will soon resolve two alleged corruption cases: the renovation of the Ryacudu Regional General Hospital and the construction of the Skipi Village Soccer Field. The Attorney General's Office is committed to handling this case seriously to dispel external issues that suggest the investigators' performance is unclear. The Attorney General's Office does not want to be hasty or rush in handling several cases until the suspect is named. The investigation into the renovation of Ryacudu Regional General Hospital in Kotabumi was based on public reports and has been elevated to the investigation stage since October 2024. Investigators have gathered statements from 20 witnesses, including representatives from the company, the Health Office, Ryacudu Regional General Hospital, and several other witnesses. The renovation work includes the Internal Medicine Ward with a budget of Rp1.2 billion, the Obstetrics Ward with a budget of Rp945 million, and the ICU Ward with a budget of Rp227 million, funded by the 2022 Revised Regional Budget.
