Discovering Bevagna, one of Umbria's most beautiful medieval villages, during the incredible Mercato delle Gaite! On this journey, we'll take you inside the ancient walls of Bevagna to show you its hidden treasures: from the splendid Romanesque churches of San Michele and San Silvestro in the majestic Piazza Silvestri, to the fascinating remains of the Roman Baths. But that's not all! We happened to be there at the most magical time of the year: the Mercato delle Gaite. This event is considered one of the most faithful and authentic medieval reenactments. Thanks to a special recommendation from a special follower, we were able to dine inside the tavern of the Gaita Santa Maria and experience the unique emotion of the historical parade and the final challenge.
