Cycling the Scottish North Coast 500 Solo - 5 Nights, Wild Camping

August 2021. I decided to cycle the NC500 solo. What an incredible ride it was! It completely blew me away, I had no idea that the scenes would be so great. Crystal clear waters and sandy beeches in these little hidden bays, wavy lochs surrounded by all kinds of shades of green, razor sharp mountains surrounding smooth valley roads. Best bits: Lochcarron, Bealach na Ba (pass of the cattle), cycling alongside isle of Skye, Torridon to Kinwolche Valley alongside Beinn Eighe mountain, Gruinard Bay, Ullapool is an interesting place, loch Assynt, Clashnessie Bay, Loch Eriboll, Tongue, John O'Groats, camping by old Bruan Free Kirk. I was especially excited as I bought myself a DJI Mini 2 drone for taking some aerial shots. That didn't disappoint. Was amazing driving round and popping open the drone and getting some shots on the fly. The battery life is poor on it though so couldn't abuse it. Also had my Lumix G100 with me to get some good photographs. The rest was shot from my iPhone SE.
