The gunfire is gone, swords are drawn, and deep within the desert, players must read the battlefield, compete for rare treasures, and wait patiently for the perfect opportunity to strike. During the preparation phase, players won't just choose their weapons and healing supplies—they can also purchase a variety of special tactical items. Some reveal the approximate location of high-value treasures, others scout activity within a designated area, while some allow you to disguise yourself as nearby objects or even NPCs, hiding in plain sight as you wait for unsuspecting enemies to approach. When battle finally begins, players can engage in direct combat using martial arts and mystical techniques, or execute a carefully planned assassination to seize the initiative and defeat stronger opponents through strategy rather than brute force. Every tactic serves one purpose: securing valuable loot and surviving. But remember—discovering treasure is never the end of the journey in Dust Crossing Ruins. Only by successfully extracting with your loot can you truly claim it as your own and add it to your collection.
