WITHDRAWN + KICKDOWN | Journey On The 466 | T65 (LJ08 CXV) | ADL Enviro 400 Trident

Yes, I know I haven't been uploading for nearly three weeks. So here is my apology... This was a completely normal journey, with what seemed like a slow driver until we got to East Croydon that is. A traffic light malfunctioning just beyond the bus station resulted in all buses moving about 2 metres per minute, and by the time we got past the large queue we were 20 minutes down. The controllers had already cancelled the drivers' next scheduled AVI departure, but he really had to make up time even just to be available for the departure after that. This thing performed very well though - in fact I reckon this was probably the best one at TC before the withdrawal process began. Very quick acceleration, with 1st-4th done in about 10 seconds as evidenced at the start. Such a shame it's gone now, at present only two Tridents survive at TC, those being T42/3 of which I know T42 at least definitely doesn't perform anywhere near as well as this did. ---------- 0:25 1st - 4th Kickdown 1:50 / 1:55 / 2:00 4th - 3rd Downshift Kickdown 2:05 5th - 4th Downshift Kickdown 3:00 1st - 5th Hillclimb with Kickdown 3:50 5th - 4th Downshift 4:10 Annoying fan turns on 4:45 Gravel Hill descent, 40mph achieved 6:55 1st - 2nd Kickdown 7:05 Annoying fan turns off I would advise using headphones for the kickdowns around 1:45, as they aren't easy to hear sometimes. ---------- Please consider subscribing if you enjoyed this video.
