It was an honor to be chosen as the hosting channel for the bulk of SLICE Open gameplay. Logistics were tricky with dozens of people playing hundreds of baseball and golf games in such a short time. The Winners Round 1 games were played on the side early to kickstart the tournament in the hopes of minimizing scheduling conflicts with baseball matchups. With the uneven bracket, 3 higher-ranking players got byes into Round 2, including myself. This match sees me and Nick playing at Peach's Castle Grounds. By this point, I had gotten comfortable enough to try using Wario. His power may have come in handy a couple times. He's a fun dark horse character. Poor Nick loses again, taking 3rd, while I climb out for grudges against elijahblue for Grand Finals.
