The Tissot Antimagnetique watches were the world’s first series of wristwatches with anti-magnetic capabilities (a major innovation at the time!) introduced by the Swiss manufacturer Tissot from the 1930s. These watches were specifically designed to withstand magnetic fields generated by the electric appliances that started populating every household during that time, such as telephones and radios.
