The Story of the Planemeld Questline - Part 4 | The Elder Scrolls Online

In today's video, I wanted to continue with the Planemeld storyline, featured in The Elder Scrolls Online. The journey kicks off with a meeting on Stirk. Together with Vanus Galerion of the Mages Guild and Countess Hakruba of the Fighters Guild, the Vestige hosts a meeting between the 3 alliance leaders. While the outcome seems dim, an opportunity arises when Molag Bal attacks. The guild's show themselves more than capable of carrying out the assault on Coldharbour. With the go ahead from the 3 alliances, the guilds charge into the Daedric realm. Unfortunately, the forces ended up getting scattered and this leaves the vestige all alone. From here, the player wanders off to the nearby Hollow City and meets with the Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper gives you a tour of Meridia's city. This place is protected by Meridia and therefor Molag Bal can't touch it. In order to carry out the assault on the Daedric Prince, the Groundskeeper says that Vanus Galerion needs to be rescued, the last Ayleid King, Laloriaran Dynar needs to be rescued, and the city must be restored to its former glory. These tasks lead the player into places like the Black Forge and the Lightless Oubliette. The former sees the player collecting Vanus' essences in order to restore his previous form. From there, you charge on the Great Shackle, destroy it and put a dent in Bal's Planemeld plans. As for the Oubliette, this is reached via the Moonless Walk which sees the player searching for the Fighters Guild. You learn that several; members have been picked off by the Shadow Walker clan. In the end, you get to side with either the Lamia's, snake people who are hunted by these Bosmer, or the Wood elves themselves. After helping out one of those factions, the player enters the Ayleid ruins, recovers the 3 shadow crystals, and frees King Dynar from his magical bonds.
