This Hoek 68 Semi Classic, EL PINO, is a solid 68-foot aluminium sailing yacht designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects. El Pino is, from stern to bow, very well maintained and updated. She is also comprehensively equipped and is highly suitable for long-distance ocean crossings or living aboard. El Pino is a cutter rigged sloop and is thanks to her hydraulic in-mast furling system, Reckmann hydraulic furling systems, and powerful hydraulic winches quite comfortable to handle even with shorthanded crew. Her sail wardrobe comprises a main sail, a genoa, a jib, a gennaker, carbon spinnaker poles, a halfwinder and a storm jib. She is furthermore equipped with a 185hp Perkins Sabre diesel engine, vario pitch prop, hydraulic bow thruster, generator, inverters, battery chargers, lithium batteries, full safety equipment, and a water maker. Further to that an exhaustive navigation and communication equipment including radar, and Iridium satellite communication. Also worth mentioning are her ample engine room, the huge storage/work room in the bow and the large tank capacities which are indispensable when you want to cross the ocean. The deckhouse of this Hoek 68 Semi Classic connects the cockpit with the main interior below deck and features a large settee to port, and a navigation corner to starboard. Four steps down from the deckhouse is the elegant main living area. The interior is fitted out with all comforts of home like: reversable air-conditioning throughout, central heating throughout, leather upholstery, electric toilets, washing machine, Quooker hot water tap, etc. El Pino can accommodate up to 6 overnight guests in her three cabins.
