ฝนฉ่ำโลก | A Day in the WILD
With a rainy season lasting approximately eight months a year, the forests never experience a dry season. Trees don't shed their leaves, but instead compete to grow tall and large to maximize sunlight. The growth of large trees, their branches interconnecting, form a canopy of colonies, home to and feeding on numerous animals, including hornbills. While the ground below faces a murky, dreary climate, animals and plants must compete for survival amidst the humid conditions. This occurs on over 400,000 rai in the southernmost part of Thailand, a region still blessed with some of the world's finest rainforests.
